You know what adding a second kid to the family does to your reading? Chops it, people, simply chops it. I used to have a goal of reading one more book per year than the previous year, but that's pretty much impossible. I've been keeping track of my books since about 2010 when I began using Goodreads (If you like to read, you have to use this site! It's SO helpful for tracking things!), and my reading has gone down, not up. :-( I just keep reminding myself that it's a season. All of life is a season.
Anyways, I read 28 books in 2011, and 26 books in 2012 and just 23 books in 2013!
Here is my list of 2013 books:
*Carry On, Warrior: Thoughts on Life Unarmed; Glennon Melton
